Our objective is to help your child become familiar with recognizing and reproducing accurate sounds, while developing a rich and varied vocabulary.

English is introduced through playful, hands-on activities and is also integrated into classroom learning materials such as language, mathematics, and science.

One of our educators speaks English during daily classroom routines, allowing children to naturally acquire the language as part of their everyday environment.

Curriculum & activities

Practical Life
Sensorial
Mathematics

Practical life activities allow the child to learn to perform everyday tasks independently (washing hands, pouring water, getting dressed), which strengthens their independence. These precise movements improve coordination, dexterity, and body control.

Practical life tasks require concentration and perseverance, essential qualities for all learning. The child develops a sense of responsibility and respect for their living environment.

Through sensory exercises, the child will smell, see, touch, taste, and hear. In doing so, they will develop fine perceptions, analyze nuances, understand differences, and make comparisons.

By classifying, sorting, and arranging, the child develops their ability to structure their perceptions and organize their thinking.

Mathematical concepts are presented through tactile and visual materials, which help the child understand abstract notions by physically manipulating them.

Montessori materials allow the child to experiment, observe their mistakes, and self-correct, and as a result, promoting autonomy and confidence in their abilities.

Art & Music

Oral language is the foundation on which further learning of reading and writing is built, facilitating these steps through a solid understanding of sounds and words really helps the child to write and read.

Montessori activities offer precise and appropriate vocabulary, which helps to enrich the language.

First scientific experiences, orienting oneself in the world, and discovering the continents. Learning more about animals and plants.

Through observation and experimentation, children explore the world around them.

Music plays a very important role in your child’s development. It helps stimulate their senses and enhances their ability to concentrate and remember.

We offer crafts related to holidays or themes being explored. Painting is an activity the child can do anytime they want, freely accessible in the classroom.

And even more

Gardening

Children have access to a vegetable garden as part of the activities offered at school. Learning to grow vegetables and herbs is a wonderful way to observe plant life developing—and later use them to cook delicious meals during cooking activities!

Seasonal celebrations

Celebrations (Escalade, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, end-of-year show) are special moments greatly enjoyed by both children and adults.

Outings

We regularly go out to explore nearby parks and nature.
Museum visits, book fairs, trips to CERN, and other discovery outings are organized for and by the older children to deepen their research on specific topics.

Emotions

Working on emotions is essential for children. The goal is not to eliminate frustration but to teach them how to manage it. The more calm children feel, the more they will learn with joy and ease.

Activities such as breathing exercises, Calm and Attentive Like a Frog, and the development of vocabulary and verbal expression are implemented throughout the year.
